What to know.

Chalk On The Road Again (COTRA) is a one day chalk art competition. It takes place on the first Saturday of October, 8am to 3pm during the On The Road Again Fall Festival located in South St. Paul, MN.

On The Road Again (OTRA) is a one day Fall Festival featuring 9 blocks, (12th Ave to 3rd Ave on Southview Blvd), of Booya and Pickle Contests, Car Show, Art and Craft vendors, food trucks, music, and featuring COTRA Chalk Art Competition. With an estimated 15,000 people attending, OTRA has been going strong for 35 years and always takes place on the first Saturday in October from 9am to 5pm. South St. Paul is located in the southeast corner of the Twin Cities metro area and sits on the Mississippi River, bordering the towns St. Paul, West St. Paul, and Inver Grove Heights.

Artists. We are seeking professional and almost professional artists, chalk artists, and 3D chalk artists. We accept artists of every age (parental/guardian permission may be applicable) but regardless of age, all will abide by the same rules. There is not an entry fee to compete and space is limited.
